Ben White throws shade at his England career

Earlier today England Manager Gareth Southgate announced his squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. 

When Quizzed on the omission of Arsenal's Ben White, Southgate offered an intriguing explanation. 

"With Ben it's quite simple. His form is good, with Arsenal currently top of the league, and it's not that he is not interested in the Brazil fixture, it's just that he has a different interpretation of that than we, as the England National Team, have." 

Probed by journalists for more information, Southgate elaborated "Ben White has a long standing personal commitment over the international break, and collectively we have decided the decision rests with Ben. Ben has chosen to ensure he attends his booked, and non-refundable, multi-day session for a full Sao Paulo Sunkiss tanning treatment."

Trailing off slightly, Southgate offered "We have to respect his decision. The door will remain open for Ben in the future".
